Popular food truck from Modesto opens in Merced. Here’s what it offers
Merced County fans of macaroni and cheese have a new food truck to try.
The Mac Box, a popular food truck that has been serving up mac and more in downtown Modesto, is now serving customers at the Valley Eats food truck court in Merced.
According to a post on Facebook, The Mac Box is the “newest food truck in the plaza!” and is opening for business at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
The 1.7-acre Valley Eats food truck site is at 1997 W. Olive Ave. It opened in July.
According to its Instagram page, The Mac Box is “the only Gourmet Mac n Cheese and Smashburger food truck in the 209!”
The Mac Box food truck was established in 2022. It has more than 5,500 followers on Instagram. It still has a truck serving customers in Modesto.
According to its Instagram profile, it serves “Loaded mac bowls and Oklahoma style smashed burgers!“
The food truck also touts that it fries using beef tallow.
