The median price per square foot for a home in Merced increased in the last week to $249. That’s $11 more than the Merced County median. Prior to this, the median price per square foot of a home sold in Merced was $234.

The most expensive community in Merced County is Los Banos, Dos Palos, Gustine, where the median price per square foot in the past week was $259.

The best deal can be found in Atwater, Ballico, Cressey, where the median price per square foot of a home sold is $232.

In the last week, a 1,624-square-foot home on Marcus Street in Merced sold for $405,000.

The figures in this text are based on sales registered during the week of Jan. 16.
