The median price per square foot for a home in Merced decreased in the past week to $238, which is the lowest in the county. That’s $32 less than the Merced County median. Prior to this, the median price per square foot of a home sold in Merced was $250.
The most expensive community in Merced County is Turlock area, where the median price per square foot in the past week was $300.
Outside of Merced, the best deal can be found in Los Banos, Dos Palos, Gustine, where the median price per square foot of a home sold is $245.
In the past week, a 1,511-square-foot home on Riverside Court in Merced sold for $360,000.
