The median price per square foot for a home in Merced decreased in the past week to $211, which is the lowest in the county. That’s $61 less than the Merced County median. Prior to this, the median price per square foot of a home sold in Merced was $238.
The most expensive community in Merced County is Turlock area, where the median price per square foot in the past week was $330.
Outside of Merced, the best deal can be found in Los Banos, Dos Palos, Gustine, where the median price per square foot of a home sold is $271.
In the past week, a 1,839-square-foot home on Granada Court in Merced sold for $389,000.
