Merced-area home sales: Real estate prices in Merced the week of Sep. 17

The median price per square foot for a home in Merced increased in the past week to $230. That’s $4 less than the Merced County median. Prior to this, the median price per square foot of a home sold in Merced was $220.

The most expensive community in Merced County is Turlock area, where the median price per square foot in the past week was $312.

The best deal can be found in Atwater, Ballico, Cressey, where the median price per square foot of a home sold is $204.

In the past week, a 1,473-square-foot home on V Street in Merced sold for $340,000.
