A California man caught on video dragging the dead body of a woman to a dumpster has been arrested for murder, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

On Tuesday, El Monte Police Department officers responded to a “suspicious circumstances” call about a man dragging a female body, according to a press release. Officers said they found the woman inside a dumpster, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.

A neighbor found security footage that is believed to have recorded the man pushing a plastic bin containing the woman’s body to the dumpster, according to KTLA.

The woman has since been identified as Florinda Velasquez-Hernandez, 64, according to a police release. The man in the video, David Lemus Orellana, 22, has been arrested for her murder and is being held on $1 million bail, according to the release. The two were roommates, and police don’t know the motive behind her death.

Velasquez-Fernandez’s family said that she was renting a room in the mobile home park and she shared the house with an older man and two brothers, KTLA reported. Her family said that they believe one of the men, who “was mean to Velasquez-Fernandez” is involved in her death.
