A robbery at gunpoint was caught on home surveillance footage on Monday in Oakland, California.
The victim, who wished to remain anonymous, was washing his car in his driveway when two men approached and robbed him, according to CBS San Francisco.
Freddy Rojas, who lives in the same apartment building as the victim, told CBS San Francisco that security camera footage recorded the incident.
“These two guys came up behind me and started robbing me,” the victim told Kron4.
“They kept trying to get me to go on the ground but the guy with the gun kept pressing it against my neck and telling me to get down, so that (was) when I finally dropped to the floor,” he said.
The man told ABC7 that the thieves stole a gold necklace, bracelet and his phone — worth between $4,000 and $5,000 together. He wasn’t hurt during the robbery.
Rojas told ABC7 that he installed a Ring camera, which captured the robbery.
”It can be any person, happen to any person around here,” he said.
