See luxurious Oakland home of ex-Warriors forward David West. Score it for $3.7 million
Former Golden State Warriors forward David West has put his luxurious Oakland home, featuring stunning views of the San Francisco Bay, on the market for $3.675 million.
The five-bedroom, five-and-a-half bath house at 5614 La Salle Avenue was built in 2017 in the hills above Montclair Village. The listing went live on Tuesday.
The house, offering modern architecture, high ceilings and glass walls, features four entertaining patios, four fireplaces, three living rooms and a custom chef’s kitchen with custom marble waterfall counters. An eat-in kitchen has French doors that lead to an outdoor patio with a dazzling fire element and built-in grill.
“No details went unnoticed, this home has style and grace,” according to the property detail page. “With over 6,000 square feet and multi-level living, you will be swept away by the ease of living here.”
Julia Temple of Compass is the listing agent. A virtual tour of the home by Aerial Canvas can be found here.
Temple noted in a promotional video that the home’s location in Montclair Village puts it near coffee shops, yoga studios, restaurants and more, yet is “tucked behind the roar of the city.”
The former home of another Warriors champion, Kevin Durant, was recently listed. With views of San Francisco Bay, Mount Tamalpais and the Golden Gate Bridge, it’s selling for $6 million.
West retired after 15 seasons in the NBA, playing for the New Orleans Hornets, Indiana Pacers and San Antonio Spurs. In 2016, he signed with the Golden State Warriors and won a championship.
