Kelly Clarkson selling her stunning Encino home for $10 million – take a look
While she and her family are hunkered down at their Montana ranch during the coronavirus pandemic, Kelly Clarkson is selling her stunning Encino mansion for $9.995 million.
Custom built in 2018, the 9,839-square-foot California home has eight bedrooms and 11 baths. An open floor plan features soaring wood-beamed ceilings and a seamless flow from indoors to outdoors.
“Combining art, design and functionality, this masterpiece elevates daily life to a whole new level,” according to the listing.
Clarkson’s girl-next-door persona is reflected in the style of all of her homes, including the Encino property, according to TopTenRealEstateDeals.com, which shared photos of the mansion (see video above).
“She has chosen beautiful but functional mansions, not the soulless showoff structures that scream, ‘Look at me! See how important I am!’ Instead, her style says, ‘Come on in and have some iced tea!,’ the real estate website wrote.
“Inspirational and practical,” is how the listing describes the place.
The master suite comes with its own private patio. The gourmet kitchen has three islands.
The estate sits on a half-acre of park-like grounds with mature palms, a pool and spa. The outdoor area comes with a built-in lounge, fire pit and fully equipped kitchen with pizza oven. There’s also a separate two-bedroom guest house.
“One of the greatest features about this house is its versatility,” Chris Corkum, the listing agent along with Lisa Brende of Compass, told Mansion Global. “It’s sleek, modern and architectural with a floor plan that is practical and comfortable.”
Clarkson, 38, shot to fame after winning the first season of “American Idol,” in 2002. She’s since sold 25 million albums and 45 million singles worldwide. She stars on the NBC competition television show “The Voice,” and is host of the talk show “The Kelly Clarkson Show.”
