Woman shot to death by ‘agitated’ man on subway train in Hollywood, police say
A man shot a woman to death Sunday morning after an argument on a subway train in Hollywood, police said.
The man, described as “agitated” by onlookers, got off the stopped train at Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street and walked away, Los Angeles police reported on Facebook.
Bystanders performed CPR on the woman, KNBC reported.
Police and paramedics responded to the 5:10 a.m. incident but the woman later died at the hospital, the post said.
The man had argued with the woman, who was sitting nearby, before the shooting, police said. It’s not clear whether they knew each other.
Trains bypassed the Hollywood and Vine metro station as police investigated the shooting, KNBC reported.
