June: CNCO, Grupo Frontera and Eslabón Armado
If you’re looking to dance to a “Reggaetón Lento,” don’t miss Latin American boy band CNCO, which will be coming to Fresno as part of their “Ultima Cita” farewell tour. The group recently released their last song, titled “La Última Canción,” on May 3 and will be performing at the Saroyan Theater on June 2.
Texan group Intocable will be at the Saroyan Theater the following evening, June 3. According to the group’s website, they combine Tejano music with norteño folk sounds, pop and rock.
Grupo Frontera is playing at the Saroyan Theater on June 15 as part of their “El Comienzo,” the beginning tour. With over 36 million monthly Spotify listeners and a million Instagram followers, Grupo Frontera is on the rise. The viral sensation from Texas’s Rio Grande Valley, which combines regional Mexican and norteño with a border-town twist, is blowing up after a number of their hits such as “No Se Va” and “Bebe Dame” with Fuerza Regida have topped the charts.
Last month, they released a new song, “un x100to,” with Puerto Rican rapper and singer Bad Bunny, and even joined “Conejo Malo” during his Coachella set. The group was recently nominated for New Artist of the Year for Billboard’s 2023 Latin American Music Awards, as well as for best Regional Mexican duo or group.
Ticketmaster lists verified resale prices ranging from $143 to over $700. Get them here.
On June 24, a slew of groups including Eslabón Armado, Luis R Conriquez, El Fantasma, Banda Carnaval and more will be performing at Chukchansi Park.
Eslabón Armado has been nominated for Billboard’s 2023 Latin American Music Award Artist of the Year as well as best Regional Mexican duo or group. They recently made history with their album, “Desvelado,” which topped Billboard’s Top Latin Albums charts with its record-breaking sales for a regional Mexican album in their first week. Their viral hit song, “Ella Baila Sola,” with Peso Pluma, an up-and-coming Mexican singer and rapper from Jalisco, has topped Billboard’s Top Latin Song list for five weeks straight. (Last month, Peso Pluma performed for thousands at Fresno’s Chukchansi Park.)
Luis R Conriquez, singer-songwriter from Sonora, Mexico, has also been nominated for New Artist of the Year.
General admission tickets are $75 each, while VIP tickets are $150. Tickets are on sale on Event Mania.
July, August: Pepe Aguilar, Fuerza Regida

Did you miss Jaripeo Sin Fronteras last year? Don’t worry. Mexican-American singer-songwriter Pepe Aguilar is coming back to the Save Mart Center on July 22 for his first solo tour in the United States since 2017.

After a sold-out show last summer at Save Mart Center, California group Fuerza Regida is back for more as part of their “Otra Peda” tour.
Hailing from the Southern California city of San Bernardino, Fuerza Regida is a force to be reckoned with: The group has received several nominations for the 2023 Billboard Latin Music Awards, including Song of the Year for “Bebe Dame,” in collaboration with Grupo Frontera, as well as a nomination for best Regional Mexican duo or group.
Rolling Stone magazine says the group’s “SoCal biculturalism … shapes the band’s attitude and aesthetic.”

September: Carín León, Christian Nodal
Looking ahead, a number of other popular Mexican acts are passing through town.

Award-winning regional Mexican singer Christian Nodal will be in town on Sept. 29 as part of his Forji2 Tour. According to the Save Mart Center, Nodal is the most successful regional Mexican singer-songwriter to date, and has won five Latin Grammys, eight Latin Billboard awards and 11 Latin AMA awards.
Last year, Nodal’s concert in Fresno made headlines when Fresno County health officials confiscated hundreds of dollars worth of food and supplies from a hot dog street vendor after the show, which went viral on TikTok.
Presale for his upcoming show is happening now on Ticketmaster.com. General tickets will be on sale this Saturday, May 13th at 10 a.m. VIP packages are also available. See here for more details.
