Player hits ‘incredible’ jackpot on 10-cent slot machine at Sacramento casino

A gambler at Thunder Valley Casino Resort near Sacramento hit a $139,422 jackpot on a 10-cent slot machine on Memorial Day, casino officials reported.

The player won a progressive jackpot on an $10 bet on a “Dragon Link: Happy and Prosperous” slot machine Monday, May 25, the casino said.

“This guest capped off the holiday weekend in the best possible way,” said Dawn Clayton, general manager of Thunder Valley Casino Resort. “Turning $10 into six figures is the kind of weekend every casino guest dreams of.”

The win marks the fifteenth six-figure jackpot at the casino in 2026. The casino has paid out more than 251,000 jackpots in the past year.

Thunder Valley Casino Resort at 1200 Athens Ave. in Lincoln has 3,500 slot machines and 89 table games. It is about 35 miles northeast of Sacramento.
