Man stabbed in face after being attacked by two people, Fresno police say

A man was hospitalized with a stab wound to the face after he was attacked by two people in Fresno on Tuesday night.

Officers responded to the scene at Cedar and Dayton avenues around 10:30 p.m.

The victim was an unhoused man who was attacked by two people while walking down the street, police said.

He was hospitalized with a non-life-threatening stab wound to the face.

Police said the reason for the attack was unknown, and the suspects were at large.
