Paris Baguette the latest to join Clovis shopping center that continues to grow
Paris Baguette became the latest business to join the growing Loma Vista Marketplace in Clovis.
Signage for Paris Baguette is up on a door and windows of a corner suite at the growing shopping center at Shaw and Leonard avenues.
It is expected to open in August or September.
Loma Vista Marketplace is anchored by a Tractor Supply Company, as well as an Ulta Beauty, which opened in April.
Paris Baguette is an international bakery chain that started in South Korea, serving a variety of desserts, including lavish cakes, along with sandwiches, and coffees and teas.
The Loma Vista spot will be the third Paris Baguette shop in the Fresno area, with other locations at River Park in northeast Fresno and the Marketplace at El Paseo in northwest Fresno open since last year.
The Corner Bakery Cafe was expected back in January to be opening a spot at Loma Vista Marketplace, too.
But after the Corner Bakery location in northeast Fresno abruptly closed around the start of April, it’s been unclear if the Corner Bakery owners still would open a spot in Clovis.
Construction was taking place inside the Paris Baguette shop Friday afternoon, part of the Phase 2 development at Loma Vista that also is expected to include the Press Box, Jamba Juice, Batter Up and Butterfish all opening nearby in the shopping center. There are no signs up for those businesses yet.
Across the parking lot, a Five Below store was the latest business to debut at Loma Vista Marketplace after opening its doors May 1.
