The Stanislaus County Coroner’s Office has identified the man killed in a rollover crash at a Modesto boat business last week as Qui Huynh, 61, of Modesto.

Huynh died after a single-vehicle crash shortly before 5 a.m. Friday at Bob’s Marine near the intersection of East Briggsmore Avenue and Oakdale Road.

According to Modesto police, the vehicle was traveling east on Briggsmore Avenue when it left the roadway, struck several boulders and boats, and came to rest upside down on top of a boat at the business.

Firefighters removed Huynh from the vehicle and attempted medical aid, but he died at the scene.

Modesto police said Thursday there are no further updates on the investigation into the fatal crash.
