Sports teams and fans burn their rivals in funny memes promoting social distancing
Around this time, sports fans would be not only enjoying a cold one while watching some baseball, but they’d be gearing up for the NBA playoffs that would be kicking off in a few short days.
But thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic suspending sports, fans are left to twiddle their thumbs while watching famous athletes either face off in a virtual game of H.O.R.S.E or play against each other in video game tournaments. Including Olympic athlete Usain Bolt.
The Florida Gators weren’t safe from ridicule.
Trust us when we say, everyone loves picking on the Dallas Cowboys.
Spare NBA star Ben Simmons’ feelings? Nah.
This restaurant didn’t hold back when expressing their frustration with the Chicago Bears.
Even though the 2020 Olympic Summer Games were officially moved to 2021 (and even that is up in the air,) their symbolic rings weren’t safe from talents of bored internet meme makers.
Can’t forget futbol.
With no scores or game highlights to promote, the official Milwaukee Brewers’ Twitter account jumped in on the fun.
