‘Into the Woods’
Playhouse Merced’s production of “Into the Woods” continues through March 15. ‘In the Mood’

‘Comedy All-Stars’
Percio Productions will present “Comedy All-Stars” March 13 at the Merced Theatre, 301 W. Main St. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 8 p.m. Scheduled entertainers include Alex Ortiz, Jay Lamont, Jeff Burghart and Alex Ortiz. Tickets are $20-$25. MC Gallery seeks exhibitions
The Merced College Art Gallery is considering proposals and solo and group exhibits for the coming fall and spring semesters. The gallery coordinator and Merced College art faculty schedule six exhibits for the academic year. Portfolios need to be mailed or delivered to the gallery for review. Please include 20 digital images of artwork, artist bio, and an artist statement.

St. Patrick’s Faith Event Ministry presents Matt Maher, the five-time Grammy-nominated artist, in concert at the Art Kamangar Center at the Merced Theatre on June 18. Exhibits at the Arts Center
The Merced Multicultural Arts Center, 645 W. Main St., has opened an exhibit titled “Emergency/Emergence: Art After War.” Curated by Eli-Jelly Schapiro, it features the work of artists Aaron Hughes, Ehren Tool, Mark Pinto and Drew Cameron, who are all Iraq War veterans. For more information, visit

Valley author
The public is invited to a presentation by Valley author Dimitri Keriotis at 6 p.m. March 12 at the Wendell Olson Forum, on the second floor of the Merced College Library, 3600 M St. Keriotis teaches English at Modesto Junior College and co-coordinates the High Sierra Institute. His debut collection of short stories, “The Quiet Time,” was released by SFA Press. The program is free. Light refreshments will be served after the presentation. The author will also sign copies of his new book.
Merced Camera Club Meets
