Tax forms available in Gray’s district offices

Assemblyman Adam Gray announced Monday that California state tax forms are available in both of his district offices.

The offices are at 690 W. 16th St. in Merced and 1010 10th St., Suite 5800, in Modesto.

The deadline for filing income tax returns is April 15.

“I am committed to ensuring that the community has access to information and the resources they need to file their income taxes,” Gray said in a news release.

The state Franchise Tax Board can provide tax services and information to help taxpayers file accurately. More information from the Franchise Tax Board can be found at www.ftb.ca.gov.

According to the release, staff members are available to assist with casework matters relating to any level of government, but specialize in issues with state agencies including the Department of Motor Vehicles, Employment Development Department and Franchise Tax Board.
