Snakes, lizards and frogs are just a few of the animals visiting Applegate Park Zoo in Merced this weekend.
“E & M’s Reptile Family has a long history of putting on family fun shows that provide a hands-on, educational experience with lots of reptiles and creepy crawlies,” city officials said in a news release.

The shows are included with the price of admission to the zoo, officials said.

Admission to the zoo is: Children under 5 are free; kids ages 5 to 15 pay $2; guests ages 16 to 61 pay $3; and those over age 62 pay $1.50. Admission is free for members of the Zoological Society.
