Reptile show visits Applegate Zoo in Merced this weekend
Snakes, lizards and frogs are just a few of the animals visiting Applegate Park Zoo in Merced this weekend.
“E & M’s Reptile Family has a long history of putting on family fun shows that provide a hands-on, educational experience with lots of reptiles and creepy crawlies,” city officials said in a news release.
The reptiles and other animals will be on display for two shows on Sunday, the first at 2 p.m. and the second at 4.
The shows are included with the price of admission to the zoo, officials said.
The zoo is at 1045 W. 25th St., at the corner of R and 25th streets.
Admission to the zoo is: Children under 5 are free; kids ages 5 to 15 pay $2; guests ages 16 to 61 pay $3; and those over age 62 pay $1.50. Admission is free for members of the Zoological Society.
