Los Banos celebrates the life and legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

The legacy and spirit of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his dream of equality among all people was celebrated Monday in Los Banos.

The celebration, hosted by the NAACP’s Chapter 12AA, brought together people of all ages and walks of life to remember Dr. King.

The theme of this year’s event was “God Over Everything.”

The march began Monday morning at Los Banos City Hall and concluded at Bethel Community Church.

A celebration followed the march and featured speakers like Bishop Chris-Anthony Xavier Ford of M.W. Saint John Grand Lodge and Sen. Anna Caballero, D-Salinas.
