Los Banos City Council, Planning Commission meetings to be held via teleconference
Los Banos Director of Emergency Services Alex Terrazaz has issued an executive order directing City Council and Planning Commission meetings to be held via teleconference, according to a Los Banos Police Department Facebook post.
The meeting change was made in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
Regular Los Banos City Council meetings will be held on the first and third Wednesday of the month at 4 p.m., with Los Banos Planning Commission meetings held on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month, also at 4 p.m.. The meetings are scheduled to take place on those dates and times unless otherwise noted, according to the release.
According to the the city, councilmembers and commissioners may attend the meetings via teleconference.
Instructions on how to access meetings and address officials will be posted on meeting agendas 72 hours before the scheduled meeting, according to the City.
Agendas for the meetings can be found at the Los Banos City Hall or on the City’s website.
According to a Los Banos Police Department release Tuesday, City Hall has been closed to the public in an effort to keep customers safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
