CHP issues alert for missing man with medical condition, last seen in Madera County

A silver alert was activated Wednesday afternoon by the California Highway Patrol for a missing man who was last seen in Madera County.

According to the CHP, Joseph Michael Dauderman, 52, was last seen Wednesday morning at about 5:30 a.m. in the area of Avenue 12 1/2 and Road 37 1/2 in Madera County. The CHP alert was sent for Fresno, Madera and Merced counties.

Dauderman stands at 6-feet 1-inch, weighs 183 pounds and is bald with brown eyes. He suffers from a medical condition and may become disoriented, CHP said.

He is believed to be wearing a black bicycle helmet and riding a dark colored bicycle with orange rims, the CHP said.

Anyone who sees Dauderman is asked to call 911.
