43-year-old Merced man identified as Mercedes-Benz driver who died in solo crash
The driver killed in a solo-vehicle collision Tuesday was identified by the Merced County Sheriff Coroner’s office as a 43-year-old Merced man.
Manuel Duran Jr. died when his 2014 Mercedes-Benz hit trees and a concrete wall before coming to rest on its roof on Dunn Road in north Merced.
Police said Duran apparently lost control of the car while traveling at speeds in excess of 60 mph.
