At-risk missing woman located by detectives, Merced police say

According to authorities, Merced Police Department detectives have located 21-year-old Samone Butler who had been reported missing. Police said Butler was found in the 300 block of West 19th Street. According to police, she was found uninjured and will be transported home.

Merced authorities are looking for an at-risk woman reported missing since Tuesday morning, police said.

Missing is 21-year-old Samone Butler. She is about 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, according to a Merced Police Department news release.

Police said Butler was last seen wearing a black shirt and black pants. She was last seen walking in the area of Martin Luther King Jr. Way and West 16th Street at about 10 a.m. on Aug. 25, police said.
