A driver was taken to a Modesto hospital Tuesday after a rollover collision along Highway 99 near Livingston, according to authorities.

At about 7:40 a.m., California Highway Patrol officers responded to the scene of a solo-vehicle collision on southbound Highway 99, north of Sultana Drive, according to CHP Officer Eric Zuniga.

According to Zuniga, Brittany Harris, 33, of Turlock, was driving an Acura sedan southbound on Highway 99 at about 70 to 75 mph. For unknown reasons, the vehicle traveled off the right shoulder of the road and overturned multiple times.

According to the CHP, Harris was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision and was ejected from the vehicle. Zuniga said Harris sustained major injuries.

According to the CHP, neither drugs nor alcohol appear to be a factor in the collision.
