Merced coroner asks for public’s help locating family of deceased woman
The Merced County Sheriff Coroner’s Office has asked the public for help locating relatives of a deceased woman identified as Florence Emory, 95, according to a Merced County Sheriff’s Office news release.
Authorities said staff at the coroner’s office have searched multiple personal records but have been unsuccessful in locating any of the woman’s relatives.
Locating immediate family members of the deceased is necessary for the coroner’s office to release Emory’s body and allow her to have a proper burial, according to authorities. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Merced County Sheriff Coroner’s Office at 209-385-7369.
