UC Merced Aquatics Center: May 19-Aug. 22. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. and 5-7 p.m.; Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:30-9 a.m. and 5-7 p.m. Closed weekends and June 19 and July 4.

The city of Merced offers swim lessons for all ages. Sessions are held Mondays-Thursdays at McNamara Park pool. Registration by walk-in only at 632 W. 18th St.Office Hours 9 a.m.-5 p.m., closed noon-1 p.m. Cost is $65 per session, per child.
