Is another In-N-Out location opening in Merced? Here’s what we know so far

Hungry? Another In-N-Out location could be coming to Merced.

The new owner of the Marketplace at Merced mall has plans to bring both a Raising Cane’s and an In-N-Out restaurant to the parking lot off West Olive Avenue, Merced city manager Frank Quintero confirmed in a recent interview with YourCentralValley.com.

The developer, Ethan Conrad Properties, said In-N-Out will be built next door to the mall.

“They are frequent co-tenants and normally do a good job of handling their parking lots, and these lots are pretty generous,” Ethan Conrad Properties wrote in an Instagram comment.

Here’s what we know so far about the possibility of a second In-N-Out location in Merced:

As of Friday, Sept. 12, it was uncertain whether Merced will get a second In-N-Out, according to Ethan Conrad Properties.

Joey Chiurazzi, the development company’s vice president, said “we’d like to” put an In-N-Out by the Marketplace at Merced shopping center.

“(The) deal is not signed so (there’s) no clear timeline of completion,” Chiurazzi wrote in an email to the Merced Sun-Star.

Where could In-N-Out open a second location in Merced?

It would be a “ground-up development in the parking lot,” Chiurazzi said.

Where is the nearest In-N-Out?

Merced currently has just one In-N-Out Burger location.

It is at the corner of Martin Luther King Jr. Way and West 15th Street.
