Here are some of the events taking place in and around Merced this weekend:

Friday, Oct. 31:

  • Trick or Treat at Park Merced Senior Living at 3050 M St., starts at 6 p.m. 
  • Trunk or Treat hosted by Yosemite Church at 2230 East Yosemite Ave., from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
  • Trunk or Treat hosted by Club Mercedes at 569 West 9th St., from 5:30-8 p.m. 
  • Trunk or Treat hosted by Polaris Tints & Wraps in collaboration with Marketplace at Merced at 851 West Olive Ave., from 6-9 p.m.
  • Halloween Trunk or Treat Game Night hosted by The Gustine Department of Recreation, Downtown Gustine, from 6-8 p.m.
  • Free churros for kids for Halloween at Casa de Churros, 3587 Applegate Road, Atwater, 5-8pm while supplies last. One churro per child. 
  • Christian Life Center’s Harvest Carnival, 650 E Olive Ave, 5:30-8 p.m.
  • Halloween II - Movie Screening, The Mainzer at 655 W. Main St., doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the movie begins at 6 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 1:

  • Halloween Hangover R&B Brunch featuring Deejay Webster 655 W Main St., 11 a.m.-2 p.m. 
  • Halloween Party II, Whiskey River Saloon at 1513 Broadway Ave., Atwater, 9 p.m. (21+)

Sunday, Nov. 2:

  • Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-A-Long, Merced Theater, 301 W Main St., at 7 p.m. (Children under 3 attend for free!)

For those looking to pick a last-minute pumpkin before the holiday, Vista Ranch Pumpkin Patch at 7326 East Highway 140 in Merced and Hunter Farms at 2985 SP Ave, Atwater will be open on Oct. 31.
