Why is Merced coffee shop closing a location?

ASIP Coffee Roasters will close its Yosemite North Shopping Center location at Yosemite Avenue and G Street.

The company’s owners said operating two locations stretched their time, energy and resources.

“We realized we were spreading ourselves too thin instead of pouring everything into doing one thing really well,” they wrote in an Instagram post. “So we made the decision to simplify, refocus and show up better for the community we love.”

The coffee shop’s last day at the G Street location will be Friday, April 10.

Will ASIP Coffee Roasters stay open on Main Street?

ASIP Coffee Roasters said it plans to focus on its downtown shop, The Sensory Lab at 847 West Main St., which will remain open.

“We’re still here,” the business said in the Instagram post. “This is just the beginning of a bigger story and we want to share it with you.”

When is Merced clothing shop shutting its doors?

Christina’s Boutiques is closing after 24 years serving the Merced community.

“Christina’s Boutique Merced is closing after 24 amazing years!” the clothing shop’s owner said in an Instagram post. “I’ve decided to retire from retail ... and will be closing Christina’s Boutique Merced!”

As part of the closure, the store is holding a “closing sale,” with discounted merchandise available while supplies last.

“We would love to see you before we close ... and to say ‘thank you!’ for all your support + friendship over the many years!” the owner wrote.

Shoppers can visit the store at the Bear Creek Village Shopping Center from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

“Everything has to go!” the owner said.

The clothing store’s final day will be Saturday, April 18.
