Family raising money for funeral for Los Banos man killed in crash
The family of a Los Banos man killed in a crash on Saturday has created a GoFundMe fundraiser to raise expenses for a funeral.
Michael Qualls, 34, was killed in a crash that happened at Santa Barbara Drive and Linwood Court, authorities said.
As of Tuesday afternoon, $6,000 had been raised. The goal is $10,000.
“The sudden loss has left my family and me heartbroken, and we are struggling to come to terms with this tragedy,” said the author of the GoFundMe, Monique Velasco.
A man who lives in the area of the crash told Fresno-area TV station ABC30 that a vehicle travelling between 50 and 60 mph hit Qualls’ vehicle.
