Atwater police investigating collision that killed 10-year-old bicyclist
Police in Atwater are investigating a fatal collision between a vehicle and a bicycle ridden by a 10-year-old.
Officers from the Atwater Police Department were called to the scene of the collision at about 7:15 p.m. Thursday.
The collision involving a truck and a bicyclist happened in the 2200 block of Bridgewater Street, according to an Atwater police Facebook post.
The bicyclist did not survive his injuries, police said. Police told Fresno-area TV station ABC30 that the victim was a 10-year-old boy.
