Major crash closes roadway in Merced County, CHP says. Expect delays
California Highway Patrol is reporting that a major crash has closed Lander Avenue at Westside Boulevard south of Hilmar on Tuesday afternoon.
The collision involved a semi and a box truck.
Emergency personnel are on the scene, CHP Merced said in a Facebook post. The closure will remain in place while first responders assist those involved, remove the vehicles and investigate the crash.
CHP Merced is advising that motorists should avoid the area and expect delays.
