June 12 deadline for discount tickets and coupons for fair

The 2012 Merced County Fair said advance sale 5-Pack General Admission Tickets and All-Day-Ride Carnival Discount Coupons are now available.

Admission for everyone 6 years and up is $5 – half the 2011 $10 admission. Children 5 years and under get into the fair free.

The fair is offering the 5-Pack General Admission Tickets, a $25 value for $16 – $3.20 a ticket. The 5-Pack is five general admission tickets that can be used in any combination, by one or more people, one at a time or all at once. It’s easy. No coupons needed, just buy them by June 12, the day before the fair starts. The fair is June 13-17.

Fairgoers can also buy advance, All-Day-Ride, Butler Amusements Carnival Discount Coupons. Pay-one-price coupons are available for $23. Coupons can be exchanged for an unlimited ride wrist-wrap for one day of unlimited rides, all day, any day of the fair. During the fair pay-one-price wrist-wraps will cost $30 each.Butler Amusements returns to the fair this year. There will be more than 36 family and kiddie rides as well as cutting-edge attractions, according to a news release from the fair.

The deadline to buy 5-Pack General Admission Tickets and All-Day-Ride Carnival Discount Coupons is June 12.

They will be on sale at www.MercedCountyFair.com and at the Merced County Fair Fairgrounds Office, 900 Martin Luther King Jr. Way, weekdays, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Cash or credit cards only. Information about additional sales outlets will be announced soon.
