Merced courthouse museum continues holiday tradition
Those looking for a spectacle or a new holiday tradition might consider checking out the 70 Christmas trees dressed to the nines at the Merced County Courthouse Museum. The exhibit, which has been an annual tradition since 1984, is a collection of themed trees from many different contributors. Entry to the museum at 21st and N Streets is free Wednesday through Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. The trees will be up through Dec. 28, though the museum is closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. For more on the exhibit, call the museum at (209) 723-2401 or send an email to mercedmuseum@sbcglobal.net.
