Rockabilly and barbecue
The Hangar BBQ plans a rockabilly-themed show from 7 to 11 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27, at the bar and grill, 26 Macready Drive. Arts open house

Kids sing with Kidz

Giving workshop
Mariposa Art Company is set to host the “Art of Giving” folk art workshops sponsored by First 5 of Merced County this month. The first is “Ojo de Dios,” which will be taught from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Dec. 1. “Ojo de Dios” is an ancient symbol made by the Huichol Indians of Mexico and the Aymara Indians of Bolivia. Jazz at MC

Celtic harpist
