Club Mercedes

Club Mercedes plans a New Year’s Eve party at 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, at the 569 W. Ninth St. club in Merced. Hmong artwork

The UC Merced Art Gallery is open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday and is showing the “Hmongstory 40” exhibit, a showcase of the Hmong experience in the United States. The exhibit is expected to be up until at least mid-February. For more, go to gasp.ucmerced.edu/

Vets on display

The Mariposa County Arts Council’s exhibition “In Uniform” features the artwork of Drew Cameron, Binh Danh and Pam DeLuco. Vault Works
