‘Julius Caesar’

Merced College Music Department plans “Inspiração,” a guitar recital by professor Nathaniel Dahman at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 5 at the Merced College Theater, 3600 M St. There is no cost, but organizers are accepting donations.
Pops concert
The Merced Symphony Pops Concert, featuring “Broadway Favorites,” is at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 6 at the Merced Theatre, 301 W. Main St. Tickets are $39 general, or $14 for students with ID, and are available by calling 209-381-0500 or visiting mercedtheatre.org.
Vets on display

‘Hairspray’

Second Saturdays
The Merced County Arts Council and the county Office of Education offer Becky Manandic and the South Pacific Dance Company’s Hawaiian-themed hula dancing at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 13 at the Black Box Theatre, 645 W. Hmong artwork
