Crab feed
North Merced Rotary’s 31st annual Crab and Pasta Dinner is 6 p.m. Feb. 27 at the Merced Fairgounds, 900 Martin Luther King Jr. Way. Tickets are $50 must be purchased from a North Merced Rotarian. No tickets at the door. For tickets, call 209-723-0064.
Gourmet breakfast
Yosemite Gateway Chapter #126, Order of Eastern Star, plans a gourmet breakfast 8 a.m. to noon on March 6 at the Merced Masonic Center, 1810 M St. The cost is $12 adult and $7 children under 10. For tickets and information, call Debby Hoban 209-358-1083. All proceeds go toward the chapter expenses.

Rummage Sale
Merced Relay for Life’s annual parking lot rummage sale is 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 5 at the Merced High School parking lot, 205 W. Olive Ave.
Church BBQ
The 69th Annual Deep Pit Barbeque prepared by the men of the Le Grand Methodist Church is 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. March 12 at Le Grand Elementary School, 13071 Le Grand Road. The cost is $12.50 for adults, $6 for children ages 6 to 12; children 5 and younger are free. Tickets will be available at the door. Merced Blue Devils Youth Football and Cheer organization will begin its first season with registration planned 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Big 5 Sporting Goods, 1746 W. Free health screenings
Castle Family Health Centers plans the ninth annual Day of Service from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 12 at the Bloss Clinic, 1251 Grove Ave., in Atwater.
