A San Leandro man died in a single-vehicle crash Wednesday on Interstate 5, south of Highway 152.

The 26-year-old man was driving his 1994 Nissan Sentra north on I-5 at some time during “the hours of darkness” Wednesday when, for unknown reasons, the vehicle drifted off the roadway, according to a California Highway Patrol news release.
