Merced’s Art Hop celebration attracted art lovers of all ages despite chilly temperatures Saturday night. Art displays, music and dancing could be found all along West Main Street in downtown Merced. Another attraction was the chance to meet Dob Francise. The 52-year-old featured artist, who has created wall murals, play backdrops, sculptures and paintings, was on hand to show some of his work and discuss his creations with visitors.
