Fair exhibit entries can be dropped off at fairgrounds

People who entered exhibits in the fair can drop them off Friday and Saturday at the fairgrounds at 900 Martin Luther King Jr. Way.

Entries will be accepted from noon to 7 p.m. on Friday and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. The deadline to submit most fair entry forms has passed.

According to organizers, one of the fair’s highlights for many fairgoers is the chance to see their arts, crafts, handiwork and hobbies displayed at the annual event.

There are a few exceptions, but most items will be accepted for divisions including crafts and hobbies, clothing and textiles, preserved foods, fine arts and photography. The deadline for Ag-Horticulture entries is Friday at 5 p.m. Ag-Horticulture and floral exhibits will be brought to the fair for judging in June.

The fair will run June 10-14 with the theme “5 Best Days of Summer."
