Madera District Fair now accepting entries
The Madera District Fair is accepting applications for the 2015 fair in September.
The fair will take place Sept. 10-13. The Madera District Fair’s 2015 Exhibitor Handbook now is available.
The theme this year is “Shear Excitement,” which celebrates the role of sheep and wool in the Valley’s agricultural community. The fair encourages entries to depict the sheep or wool industry.
The fair is accepting entries for livestock, horticulture, arts and crafts, photography and more.
Baked goods and confections will be judged at 5 p.m. Sept. 10.
The entry deadline is 6 p.m. Aug. 18.
