A “Water-Wise Edible Landscaping” class is 11 a.m. Saturday at Merced Gardens and Nursery, 1007 Tahoe St. Presented by University of California Cooperative Extension master gardeners, the seminars are held in an event tent. ‘Beauty and the Beast Jr.’

Track meet
Minds in Motion youth track club is taking signups for an all-day meet March 12. The club is taking signups in person from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday at the McCombs Youth Center, 615 W. 15th St. Anyone can also sign up online at www.btgusa.org.
Bunco and lunch
The Livingston-Delhi Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary plans a lunch and Bunco Bash at 11 a.m. March 12 at Livingston Veterans Memorial Hall, 1605 Seventh St. The event is open to everyone and tickets are $20, which includes lunch. ‘Heart for Art’

College concert

The National Association for Uniformed Services, H. Wayne Hein Chapter 18, will meet at 10 a.m. March 19 at the Castle Air Museum Banquet Room, 5050 Santa Fe Drive. Dancing for Birth
Merced College Community Services plans several “Dancing for Birth” classes for pregnant women, new moms and newborns. Four different sessions are offered from February through June for classes that run from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Each session is $25. Merced College medallion
The fourth annual State of the College Address and Presentation of the President’s Medallion, sponsored by the Merced College Foundation, will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 22 in the college’s IAC amphitheater. Individual tickets to the catered lunch are $50, table sponsorships for eight guests are $500, and corporate sponsorships are $1,000 for a table of eight. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Merced College Foundation at 209-381-6470 or online through PayPal at www.mercedcollegefoundation.org.
