La Grange Rodeo is gearing up
The 69th annual La Grange Rodeo is set for April 3.
You’ll see bull riding, bareback and saddle-bronc riding, team roping and calf roping, steer wrestling and barrel racing. Young kids will compete in the famous “goat scramble” (catch the goat and you get to keep it!) at the La Grange Rodeo Arena, overlooking the Tuolumne River canyon.
Events kick off early on April 3, with the slack beginning at 8 a.m., the Rodeo Queen Ceremony at noon and the Grand Entry at 1 p.m.
Tickets for the La Grange Rodeo are $15 at the gate, $10 for kids, ages 6 to12. 5 and under are free. You can get pre-sale tickets for $12 and $8 from a member of the La Grange Rodeo Association, one of the queen candidates, or a few area businesses.
