Four-day Madera County fire near Oakwood Road contained at over 1,400 acres

The four-day Madera County fire near Oakwood Road and Road 406 was contained at 1,431 acres on Tuesday night, Cal Fire reported.

The fire started Saturday at 1:19 p.m., burning 15 acres initially and spreading to 1,400 acres on Sunday.

No one was injured and no structures were damaged.
