Free food giveaway at Veterans Park on Friday

The Madera County Food Bank will hold its Community Assistance Program on Friday from 9 a.m. to noon at the downtown Veterans Memorial Park in Chowchilla. The park is at Seventh Street and Robertson Boulevard.

This is a free food giveaway for all Madera County residents 18 and over. Bring bags, boxes or carts to carry your food items. The food will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis.
