Walking for peace

Luke Wonderly was spotted in Chowchilla recently as he walks across the nation promoting peace. The 57-year-old began his journey in Bakersfield in late April. His plan is to walk across the United States to promote world peace and along the way meet with each state governor. His plan is to make it to Washington, D.C., with the goal of meeting with the president and members of the House of Representatives and Senate. As he walks, pulling a cart with a large Peace Walk sign, he stops to talk to people, shake their hand and pass out fliers sharing the message of his trip.
