Livingston seeks applications for Planning Commission seat

Livingston is accepting applications to fill one vacancy on the Planning Commission.

The Planning Commission has five members and an alternate appointed by the City Council. All members must be qualified to vote in city elections, officials said.

The term of each commissioner is four years or until successors are appointed.

Among other responsibilities, the Planning Commission makes decisions on various permits, enforces land-use regulations and provides recommendations to the City Council on site plans, rezoning requests and General Plan amendments.

The regular meetings of the Planning Commission are held at 7 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month at the City Council chamber, 1416 C St.

Applications are available at City Hall or at www.livingstoncity.com and should be submitted to City of Livingston, 1416 C St., Livingston, CA 95334, Attn: Betty Cota, deputy city clerk.

The deadline for applications is 5 p.m. Jan. 16.
