CHP reporting fatal collision near Mariposa

The California Highway Patrol is reporting a head-on collision on Highway 140 east of Briceburg caused at least one fatality.

The accident was reported about 1:45 p.m. The CHP reported that Highway 140 would be closed in both directions with no estimated time to reopen the road.
